Dog Cupcakes: Chompin’ Chocolate & Peanut Butter Pups
These little puppies were a while coming!
There were lots of failures and refinements to the recipe to get it just right and of course suitable for pooches to eat. The base of the Chompin’ Chocloate is a chocolate (carob) flavoured cupcake sweetened with natural honey and it’s topped with vanilla yoghurt and a chocolate biscuit bone.
Once I’d mastered the basic chocolate recipe I did a bit of experimenting and the end product was the Peanut Butter Pups.
Most pups loooove peanut butter and these little guys are filled with it! They’re a peanut butter flavoured cake on the bottom and smothered with peanut butter on the top. You get the best lick value out of these dog treats! I thought the carob paw on the top was a cute touch!
Great additions to the Sweet Chops dog treats range. Yum!
